SWHAP Achievement Awards 2011

On the 1st December the award for Most Innovative Workplace Programme Most 2011 was presented to Tamarind Translations by Mr. Bjorn Haggmark, Minister, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Sweden in Nairobi, and Mr. David Mwaura, Eastern Africa Coordinator.
Swedish Workplace HIV/AIDS Programme, SWHAP. Since 2008 SWHAP has held annual Achievement Award Ceremonies to encourage and reward successful and innovative workplace initiatives.
The event was attended by representatives of Swedish-linked companies involved in the SWHAP programmes in Kenya that came together to mark the World Aids Day 2011. Tamarind Translations launched a wellness e-forum for its staff and consultants in 2011 and currently over 50 members. The forum members exchange useful health and wellness information and participate in periodical activities that include health tests.
